The of area  Hemsedal is a side valley to Hallingdal, where the mountains are both high and rugged. There are a total of 11 slopes and 35 pistes, and the height difference is 810 m. However, Hemsedal is more than just a winter sports location. Unique fishing possibilities exist here in mountain lakes and rivers, and you can take part in life on a mountain farm here. Hemsedal is a great starting point for trips to the fjords, glaciers and roaring waterfalls.

How to get to Hemsedal:
Bus From Oslo or Bergen.
Train: The Bergen train to Gol, then continue by local bus (32 km).
By air: Oslo, Gardemoen (220 km). Leirin in Varlderes (120 km).
Car: From Oslo, take the E18 to Sandvika, then the E16 to Hønefoss, followed by highway no. 7 to Gol and highway no. 52 to Hemsedal. From Bergen, the E16 to Hagafoss, then highway no. 7 to Gol, followed by highway no. 52 to Hemsedal. Hemsedal Resort Fjell-Landsby. is situated by the ski center approx. 2 km west of the center of Hemsedal.
