Gautefall

Description  There are 30 apartments at Gautefall (the largest of which have jacuzzis), with room for 4-7 people.  There is a restaurant and bar, dancing to live music, and the hotel has its own activity hall. In the immediate area of the hotel building there is also a tepee style tent and a separate park with sculptures. Gautefall Hotel and Apartment has its own activities manager.

Description of area  Gautefall Hotel and Apartment is situated at Gautefallheia, between clear mountain lakes where the trout leap and bite willingly. In the winter it is only a few ski strokes to the ski slopes with a snowboard park and sleigh run. Many well-groomed cross-country tracks and marked paths for walking trips in easy terrain pass right outside the hotel. Telemark's and Sørlandet's many sights are only a short distance from Gautefall.

How to get to Gautefall:
Train: Drangedal station and service bus or the hotel shuttle service.
By air: Oslo, Gardermoen (280 km ).
Sandefjord, Torp (128 km).
Kjevik, Kristiansand (140 km).
Car: From the E18 at Gjerdemyra, follow highway no. 38 through Drangedal and then highway no. 358 to Gautefall.
